José Ramón Jarquín Gómez’s journey in coffee began in 1994, working side by side with his father, the late Alfredo Jarquín Rivera. What started as a small family effort growing Catimor has, over the years, grown into a lifelong craft. With more than 26 years of dedication, José has expanded his farm to cultivate Catimor, Catuaí, Java, and Maracaturra—placing special focus on Maracaturra for its exceptional potential in specialty coffee and its growing recognition in local and international markets. Today, he manages four manzanas of land, continuing to honor his roots while shaping the future of his coffee with passion and care.
